Maintaining a Healthy Body to Prevent Falling

Compared to the young, the elderly have brittle bones that fracture easily, and once fractured do not mend readily.
Such fractures often result in confinement to bed. Most bone fractures among the elderly happen due to a fall. As we get older, or overall motor sensation deteriorates, it becomes more difficult for us to stand, and we begin to walk be scooting our feet. It is important for us to exercise every day to maintain healthy bodies and prevent falls.
